Blackboard claims that SafeAssign can be used “to prevent plagiarism”
and that it can be “effective as both a deterrent and an educational
tool.” Is it effective? And is it educational? Or not? Have you
considered using SafeAssign, but are unsure why you should or
shouldn’t? Come to a well-rounded conversation where Mike Michaud
(English/Writing Board Chair) and Mike Parsons (Communication) discuss
the pros and cons of using this tool. Stephanie Hijazi, USS, will
address any technical questions.
