This interactive workshop will provide
examples of best practices in teaching students with visual impairment
and blindness. Accessibility of course materials to ALL learners,
including individuals with disabilities, is a diversity and inclusion
topic of national significance. This program provides attendees with a
user-friendly overview and practical tips about accessible course
materials, teaching and learning techniques. Lunch will be provided.

Breea Govenar (Associate Professor of Biology), Caroline Caswell
(Assistant Professor of Mathematics and Educational Studies), Carole
Villucci (Adjunct Professor of Art), and Maryabby Jusayan (RIC
Elementary Education major).
