This panel is intended to create a space for faculty to
collaborate on ways to encourage and incorporate social justice concerns in
their curricula. Sara Picard (Art History), Sadhana Bery (Sociology), Robyn
Linde (Political Science), and Janice Okoomian (Gender and Women's Studies)
will each present a lesson that they teach, and then the group will open the
floor for questions and discussion. The panelists will connect and share ways
they already foster resistance to discriminatory rhetoric, policies, and practices
within their classrooms in terms of pedagogy, research, and experiential
learning in line with the school's mission and curriculum.
